JOINING THE SOMATIC SCHOOL
As the Regional Lead for Australasia at The Somatic School, I am dedicated to fostering profound growth and connection through Body-Oriented Coaching, aligning with our mission to reconnect individuals with their wholeness and embodied presence.
Within my own practice, I've developed a distinctive blend of therapeutic approaches, trained in Dr. Gabor Maté's Compassionate Inquiry Approach, certified by The Somatic School as a Body-Oriented Coach, a Certified Meditation Teacher, and a Certified Clinical EFT Practitioner. My work supports individuals in reconnecting with their authentic selves and building emotional resilience unapologetically.
With a background as a Strategic Business Consultant & Coach, I integrate business acumen with wellness practices, guiding individuals to uncover their authentic brilliance and cultivate sustainable wellbeing. My approach honours the innate wisdom and potential within each person, supporting them to tap into their own solutions and insights.
I am excited to bring The Somatic School's innovative coaching education to this region, enabling individuals through body-oriented practices to deepen their connection with themselves and others.
Join me in Australasia as we begin this journey together, celebrating wholeness and embodied presence.

ACCREDITED DIPLOMA IN BODY-ORIENTED COACHING
Discover a new way of coaching that honours the wisdom of the whole person-body, mind, and spirit.
WHAT IS THE COURSE ABOUT
The Accredited Diploma in Body-Oriented Coaching invites you into a pioneering, experiential journey where the bodymind is central to transformation. Rather than focusing solely on the thinking mind, this training brings together a rich tapestry of established modalities including Hakomi, Focusing, Gestalt, and more to help you partner with clients in a co-creative process of inquiry. Here, you’ll learn to meet clients exactly where they are, support them to awaken their senses, and follow what is seeking to emerge in their lives.
At its heart, Body-Oriented coaching recognises that the body and mind are inseparable. By tapping into present-moment experience, sensations, and emotions, you’ll facilitate embodied dialogue-helping clients come home to themselves and access their natural wisdom. This approach is grounded in contemporary neuroscience, humanistic psychology, and the process model of change, offering a holistic, person-centred, and deeply transformative path.
COURSE STRUCTURE
The Diploma is thoughtfully structured into a series of modules, each building your confidence and skill as a Body-Oriented Coach. You’ll move from foundational concepts to advanced somatic interventions, all within a supportive and inclusive learning environment. The journey typically includes:
Foundations of Body-Oriented Coaching: Laying the groundwork for embodied, present-moment dialogue.
Awakening Somatic Awareness: Exploring the bodymind, biology, and the art of coming home to the body.
Working with Embodied Strategy and Action: Supporting conscious action through movement, posture, and form.
Integrating Imagination and Movement: Harnessing creative and expressive modalities.
Focused Webinars: Deep dives into topics like Contracting, Power & Empowerment, Trauma, Self-care, and Embodied Self-awareness.
Monthly Practicums: Live, facilitated practice sessions with feedback.
ICF Core Competencies and Ethics: Including mentoring hours for ICF ACC credentialing.
Learning is delivered in a flexible, blended format-combining live online sessions, self-paced study, webinars, and a vibrant community. The course can be completed in approximately six months.
“This is not just a course-it’s an invitation to rediscover your own wholeness, and to support others in coming home to themselves. We believe in meeting you exactly where you are, and walking alongside you as you explore the wisdom of your bodymind.”
This training is for anyone who feels called to move beyond conceptual conversations and into the aliveness of embodied coaching.
Whether you are new to coaching, an experienced practitioner, or simply curious about what it means to live-and help others live-more fully in the present moment, you are welcome here. No prior coaching qualification is required; you’ll be met exactly where you are, and supported to develop your unique style as a Body-Oriented Coach.
